Future Tense: What Has (Not) Happened (Yet)

Future Tense features the work of 28 San Francisco artists revealing the challenges, hope and anxiety of these past 8 months of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Renee DeCarlo of the Drawing Room and Curated State conceived of this show as a loving sendoff to The Drawing Room Annex, which will be taken over by a new tenant in December 2020.  This show was also a healthy and inspiring distraction in the weeks leading up to the November 3rd election.  In Renee's words, 'we pulled together a last minute, fly by the seat of our pants INCREDIBLE show. I am not kidding - this city has so much talent and so many diverse and passionate artists. In this show, artists held back nothing to share with you what they are feeling and going through RIGHT NOW. Please don't miss this last HOORAH of the Annex...'

Our last day is Friday, November 27th.  With the COVID surge, we are open by appointment only, masked and socially distanced of course!  Check out the work here
